I took my Jetta to Robert's Auto because it was making an awful noise. After having it in the shop for 3 days Robert told me it was either my clutch or pressure plate. Normally I would not mind this diagnosis, however my car is an automatic and has neither part in it. So then the next day he decided it was the flex plate, which it turned out to be. After it being there for a week I called again asking the status and Robert said that he did not have time to pick up there part and that it would be done if a few days. Finally after having it a week and a half, I go there to pick it up and he tells me that I should thank his father-in-law for picking up the part. I thought getting the parts was part of owning a business. After I get it home, I have a new problem with it. Turns out when they were fixing the flex plate, they broke the torque converter. Great another $800 repair. Moral of the story, if you want your car fixed right, don't take it to Robert's Auto.
I took my Jeep Cherokee to Robert's Auto due to a very noticeable leak in the front of the engine compartment. They diagnosed it and found it to be the condenser for the transmission coolant. Instead of just doing the work, they asked if the car had been in an accident. When I replied it had, they called the body shop who did the accident work and found this was covered by my insurance. They are professional, ethical, and certainly trustworthy. I will only take our cars to Roberts for repairs.
If you can afford to wait a few days for your service / repair, I would highly recommend Robert's.
He's honest and his prices are fair, which unfortunately keeps him insanely busy.
I've used Robert's for everything from oil changes to transmission replacements.
If u have time to wait for Roberts then do it honest reliable and never bs any one beta straight to the point might take a few days to fix but worth every minute u wait. Restored my Jerusalem from death and it ran like a champ after he fixed I was able to male a profit of it. Thanks rob ur the best.
Our family has been going to Roberts Auto for about 15 years. They are always willing to check a noise or answer a question. They stand behind their work. Very fair pricing on labor and parts.
