Nicely taken care of Dog Park. Totally fenced in with a seperate small doggie area.

‘ Probably more dogs than ever there now. It would often top 20 crazy fun-loving dogs at a time, and was always the best time for the dogs and the people who the dogs owned!

I used to visit Candlewoof several times a week with my black lab, Coal, when he was still living. He sadly died of cancer just a day or two after our last visit there.
At the time, Candlewoof had not been listed on Google Maps, but Coal and I loved the place (and the regulars) so much that I submitted it to Google for addition to Google Maps. I included a few photos that I took of the park, but for some unexplainable reason, did not include any dog pictures(?). So, in memory of Coal, I’m retroactively including just a few of Coal (with dog friend) at Candlewoof. Next time you’re there, ask a few of the old-time regulars if they remember him. I bet they will! (Say hello to Tom, if he hasn’t headed south for the winter!)
Entirely dog-centric with large fenced-in area. No fee for those of us who are non-residents, but the "regulars" actively expect visitors to pick up after their dogs. You can always expect to hear (and share) wonderful dog tales! Should also mention that there separate areas for big and small dogs. Highly recommend!
