Establishment was dimly lit, a little messy and needed maintenance.
Food - not bad (except for flat and disappointing soda)
Initial impression was the place could use a freshening up, or a thorough cleaning.
Stopped here while dropping off a vehicle for AAA. Was very surprised, pizza was filling and delicious. Cashier was nice. Kitchen banter was amusing. Came in at 8pm on friday April 8th.
The food was not bad. My grinder was in a styrofoam take out container and the fried dough was served in a large aluminum take out container. The 20 oz soda given to me from the refrigerated display behind the counter was barely cool and was flat/stale perhaps sitting around in the heat for a while before being placed in the refrigerator.
Without any pizza on display to select from, the counter person pointed to a whiteboard sign with my pizza selections - the basics. I asked about toppings and she said they could be put on the slices. Grabbing a menu, I decided to order a Chicken Cutlet Grinder and an order of fried dough to stay.
While waiting for my food, one of the staff came out and sat at the table under the wall mounted tv to watch a sporting event and stare at his phone. This table was dirty also. Several feet away, there was a trash can that was full. If there really wasn't anything to do perhaps wipe the tables and empty the trash?
I ordered 2 calzones, 1 with meatballs 1 with pepperoni. They were delivered 1hr 20 minutes later with NO pepperoni and NO meatballs. So I didn't even get what I paid and asked for. When I called to tell them the owner said I was wrong that there was meat inside!.
There is a sit/stand counter left of the entrance w/stools and space for about 4 and then a dine in area ahead with 4 tables but the space could easily fit several more. The 2 tables closest to the counter appear to get the most use as the other 2 are somewhat hidden around back and to the right as you enter.
Is located towards the back of a shared driveway/parking lot with Dunkin Donuts and easily missed due to the speeds traveled on the main road out front.
The counter overhead lights were off and there were no pizzas on display behind the display glass giving me the impression they might have been closed.
Cashier was polite and friendly
Food is good but there delivery takes for ever and I keep losing my break time and I do don't even have time to eat
I stopped in on what appeared to be a slow Sunday evening at 6:45 pm.
The front 2 tables were not clean and despite the lack of clientel at the moment, did not have the chairs placed neatly under the table, the napkin holders and shaker/dispensers of seasonings were strewn about on the table. There were greasy menus and crumbs on the table where I eventually sat.
Please pardon my typos and potentially hilarious autocorrections as this was typed with my large thumbs on a this damn phone.
This is the place to go. They delivered to me in the middle of a snow storm. Pizza is delicious.
The place was moderately/dimly lit. There were no patrons and there was nobody at the counter to greet me when I walked in. The ceiling tiles were yellowed - several also had water stains.
While waiting patiently for my dinner, 2 of the delivery people came and went. The person that was leaving for a delivery when I walked in returned before my food arrived. Also, 2 customers came in to pick up orders phoned in.
While waiting I took note that several of the plates covering the electrical outlets were cracked. One was missing entirely - exposing curious fingers to the live wires behind. More evidence that things are not maintained.
So - to sum up.
I stopped in because I am curious to sample the local eateries and have driven past this one on numerous occasions.
The chicken grinder was tasty, the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, the grinder was warm and toasted. The fried dough was hot and crispy on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside.
Finally - 20 minutes after I placed the order, the cashier appeared and delivered my meal to my table. I thought perhaps 20 minutes was a long time to wait for a simple order especially since it really wasn't busy.
